Rub a dub dub, Three kids in the tub!

We had a wonderful three days at Columbine with Grandpa and Grandma. The weather was so nice. Not so cold that you had to build a fire, but a nice cool breeze all day. Grandpa hiked Katie, Jacy, Erin, Camilla, and MaryAnn down to the Old Mill and BACK! One mile down and 5 miles back is what he told us before we left. He wasn't joking. Jacy trotted on her tip toes ahead of the rest of us all the way up the mountain. She would go along 50 yards, then lay in a cool spot with her hands behind her head and wait while we drug our tired bodies up the hill. Actually, Grandpa was just hanging back with us to make sure we weren't attacked by wild animals. He was clearing the trail of downed limbs the whole way back. When we were almost through it occured to me that he had the advantage on us. He's had a quadruple bipass and 5 stents. He was getting a LOT more oxygen than the rest of us. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for a fun three days! - The Larson Ladies and H.R.
