Some of you will remeber the friends dad made at the museum last year. They have a passion for "4 wheel driving" and love to explore. Dad offered to take them to see where he and Jim and Steve found the pots all those years ago. Reed stumbled across the man's blog. He gives a great account of their adventures and lots of praise for dad! Check it out.
His description of dad made me laugh, although I guess it is true. "Well preserved?"
"We went to Thatcher to meet a Keith Crockett today (2-19-07) He is a well preserved tall tanned man of about 74 years old. He has hiked these mountains and rode horseback through them all of his life."
